Arden's Bentley Hood Ornament: Kitsch or Cool?

Feeling a bit jealous of your Rolls Royce pals? Then how about a bonnet mascot for your Bentley? Our verdict is still out on Arden's new Bentley radiator figure but if you're interested in the details here they are: the "Flying B" costs €980 or around US$1,480 and can be mounted in about 30 minutes.

According to Arden, the hood ornament has been designed to separate from the base in the case of a strong impact in order to minimize the danger of injury of a pedestrian, without being damaged itself.

Additionally, there's a patented quick-locking mechanism that offers a theft protection as the bonnet mascot can be dismounted and mounted by the owner at any time.

Arden Releases New Supercharger Kit for Range Rover SC Models

For those that want to give a bit more oomph to their pre-facelift Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models with 4.2-liter supercharged V8 engines, Arden has developed a new performance kit that will give an extra 80HP for an overall output of 470HP. The German tuner's kit includes a new supercharger, special programmed ECU, Arden Air Intake Ducts and a new exhaust with sport catalytic converters. Sounds nice but there's a 'small' catch; the price of the complete kit excluding taxes and installation has been set at €19,500 or around $26,000.

If we were you, we'd do the math and see if it's actually worth it -especially if you have a relatively new model- as the facelifted versions of both the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport with 510HP supercharged V8s are just around the corner.

Arden’s Jaguar XF Based AJ 21 with up to 550 HP

Arden AJ21 Jaguar XFArden has finally released real life images and mechanical details on its latest creation, the Jaguar XF based AJ 21. The top of the line version of the AJ 21 gets a supercharged V8 engine stroked out from 4.2-liters to 4.5-liters delivering an output of about 550 HP, which should be more than enough to take the “wildcat” into M5 territory.

Although that’s the Jag to go for, the German tuning firm also offers a 4.5-liter version for both the naturally aspirated and supercharged 4.2-liter V8 engines, increasing output by 80 HP to 380 HPand 500 HP respectively. In the case of the 2.7-liter V6 diesel engine, Arden’s tuning kit bumps power from the standard 207 HP to 250 HP. Arden Range Rover AR7 with 520Hp Twin-Supercharged V8

Arden’s latest development is the AR7 based on the Range Rover that features a series of mechanical and aesthetic upgrades. For starters, the German tuning firm enlarged the capacity of the Range Rover’s V8 engine from 4.2 to 4.5-liters and added a high performance twin screw supercharger. The V8’s output has been increased to an ample 520Hp with a maximum torque of 680Nm or 501.5 lbs-ft. Despite the impressive output, the AR7 manages a mediocre 6.5 sec for the 0 - 100 km/h (0-62mph) sprint. For example, the stock Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62mph) in 5.5 sec. -Continued

In addition to the mechanical upgrades, Arden has dressed the Range Rover with a tasteful bodykit that includes a wide front apron with LED daytime running lights, wheel arch extensions, side skirts and a newly developed rear apron that incorporates a new set of rectangular tailpipes. The AR7’s looks are complemented by new 22 or 23-inch forged alloy wheels.

Finally, the AR7’s interior has been dressed in leather and alcantara that can be ordered in any colour desired while there are also a wide variety of high-grade woods, chrome, carbon and aluminium applications for the dash and the door trims.

Arden Jaguar XF AJ21: New Images and Details Released

Despite the fact that Arden's official images of the new Jaguar XF AJ21 appear to be the product of photoshop, the German tuning firm's sporty outfit for the XF looks mighty nice. Arden has enhanced the Jaguars appearance with a new bodykit that includes a new front bumper with integrated LED-day lights, side sills with functional air inlets that cool the rear brakes, a rear lid spoiler and a rear diffuser that incorporates the new exhaust tailpipes.

Arden Releases Teaser Shot of Tuned Jaguar XF

Arden is a well-known tuning firm based in Germany that specializes on Jaguars and Range Rovers. The company is getting ready to launch their first Jaguar XF product that bears the name “XF AJ 21”. Unfortunately, Arden hasn’t announced any details on the mechanical updates but it shouldn’t take long. From what we gather, the XF AJ21 will probably get the same heavily modified 4.5-liter supercharged V8 as the XK AJ 20 Coupe that delivers 480 Hp / 353 kW and an awesome torque of 640 Nm or 472 lbs-ft at 3,850 rpm/
