TURBO

Use turbo for the first time in the military aircraft industry in the world wars and before use in cars and of course the idea was to let him increase the strength of aircraft as well.
The idea of using turbo chargers in the automotive industry was born in Europe for use in high performance engines
(High performance) with eight cylinders and devoted to Formula One racing cars, and they would allow their laws in that period using the Chargers and was the first commercial vehicle is used Turbo Saab 900, which produced the year 1978.
OT turbo?
Turbo chargers (Turbo) are devices to help the engine to burn more fuel, and through the introduction of more air to the engine
With pressure up to portray the largest percentage increase of the ignition of fuel inside the combustion chamber.
Pump pressure and the amount of air to the engine by the fan installed in the Turbo (Turbine wheel), which revolves by pushing the exhaust gas (Exhaust) have, ie, we take advantage of the recycling of exhaust gases in the turbine wheel.
And of course the wheel of the turbine speeds up awesome to be up to 30 times faster than the fastest engine of car engines, where there may be increased by up to 150 000 rpm!
If the greater the number of revs (RPM) the greater the pressure of exhaust gas and thus increased the amount of air pumped by the turbo.
It is clear to us that the higher the revs the more power (the power that we get from the turbo will not get it from the beginning but will get them gradually until we reach the highest number of cycles in the engine).
The greater the amount of air inside of the turbo to the engine whenever Zldt horsepower ratio, which we will solve them, and this simple equation to understand the subject.
Us assume that a car engine power 300 hp If we enter to the engine 50% of the original such as increasing the amount of air will increase the rate of fuel burn by 50% as well and thus we get the extra 150 hp for a total of 450 hp (this is in standard conditions either in practice will be less force than that shortly)
Where and what riding ...?
Installed the following parts:
1 - the introduction of the air hole of the engine (Intake)
2 - slot exhaust (Exhaust)
3 - air filter and filter if preferred sports. Take into account when installing the turbo that is placed in the most remote place on the engine until the engine temperature does not affect it.
Advantages and disadvantages:

Feature and the main goal of the turbo

Is to get more horsepower by up to twice or three times
Main force Vmhrk 300 hp power up to 900 or 1000 horsepower and vary depending on the pieces used
But the main drawback is in:

Temperature increase: of course, will increase the engine heat significantly due to increased rate of combustion in the engine and this increase will lead to a decreased life span of the engine that the engine did not explode as a result of intolerance Albesatem of this pressure and temperature.
But we can overcome all the disadvantages of using Turbo appropriate pieces.

Some of the ways to protect the engine from the negative effects of more than:

First, to overcome the problems of heat:
1 - Installation of radiator or any sports Radiatber y s a larger size.
2 - Installation of the engine cooler internal inter coller and is a great importance to reduce the temperature.
3 - install turbo in a place far from the engine so as not to affect the temperature of the turbo engine.
4 - try to open the vents in the hood and in front Alaksaddam.
5 - Installation of exhaust unfair to athletes ((Exhaust system Esptia even with the exhaust pressure greatly to his governors that no change will result in the increase in engine heat significantly.

Second: For Bsatem:
When you increase the pressure inside the engine by certain we may need to change the engine Bsatem Eachry Sports are made from materials with a great capacity to endure the pressure, and is called (Pressure Pistons).

Third, control of the pressure:
Of the basic features of more than we can control the open and closed, and in contrast to the Super charger
Simply because it runs parallel with the engine when increase the number of revs Vtlqaúaa increase the number of sessions of the turbo are larger, with production for the air pressure to the engine, which produces about horsepower and can also by a device installed for more than the so-called Boost controller to control the opening and closing Turbo manner the best You might, for example, that Nbermjh that does not open the turbo, but when you reach the number of revs to 4000 rpm or 5000 rpm, and this will provide a great effort on the engine Vzbet to use the car on a daily basis and the process without any strain on the engine because you will go quietly and will not make your engine up to the number of sessions, which then will open the turbo
And in this way will provide the effort and a lot of pressure on your engine for use in this way.

Sizes and types of turbo: turbo chargers with different types and sizes for every car charger dedicated to her, we find that there are companies dedicated to producing chargers and modification parts for Honda only and there is a company specialized in Altiota just like TRD.
Valtrbu dedicated to Honda will not be able to put it in the Ford Mustang, for example!!
And of the most famous companies in the production of turbo is the G READY, TRD and LINGENFILTER.
Turbo types:
1 - charger singles (Single turbo) any we ride the charger and the only one.
2 - Haouhn sequential (Sequentiol turbo) any Hahannin we ride, one large (basically) and a small one used in the first rotation speed journals will be much faster than the large and the power that we get it we will get it in a time much less than great.
3 - Twin turbo, and we use this method in the same Hahannin Ahadjmo in this way we will get more pressure from the two methods
Turbocharger turbine
Turbo Charger
What is a turbocharger?
The idea to use the charger air pressure of the exhaust gases left by the engine to re-supply of the engine clean air. The new air is mixed with the fuel through the engine control unit "ECU engine control unit". Leading to a higher power to give the engine immediately to provide him with additional air and fuel. For engines of regular and non-equipped charger should the engine drawing air through the filter and orderly flow of fuel and streams feeding multiple, leading to a drop in pressure inside the combustion chamber to be lower than normal atmospheric pressure, with the turbocharger is push air to the combustion chamber with excess pressure then a the amount of air and fuel more.
Turbocharger model generates a pressure range of $ between 0.4 and 0.7 bar maximum, will be installed turbocharger directly on the exhaust pipe for the benefit of the air pressure outside of the exhaust in the recycling turbine turbine installed from the axis on the arm of a short turn rotate the turbine turbine other installed on the party other than to pull fresh air through the filter of air into the combustion chambers, if you adopt the basic idea of the turbo charger to take advantage of the momentum of the exhaust gases and waste in the engines to run the pump for regular re-supply the engine with air.
Is Zi and cooling axis turbines the turbine via the oil from the engine, and as the exhaust gases with a high temperature may reach the outlet temperature of exhaust to the hundreds of stairs, which leads to burning of oil, leaving deposits of charcoal in the streams of oil which is causing serious harm to the engine, so it must be replaced engine oil in vehicles equipped with turbocharged air every 3000 km maximum, or the use of oils, synthetic particular prevented them from leaving deposits and are replaced every 6,000 km maximum, and problems also faced by the adoption of the oil in cooling is the heat after the fire engine, without cooling the charger will run oil located on the axis turbines to the exhaust pipe, after extinguishing the engine, causing a big increase too in the degree of heat coming from the body of the exhaust pipe, this heat is enough to destroy the shipper or the shortening-of-life, so I have to leave the engine running quietly for a period of not less than 30 seconds before it off to be in this cooling period, the shipper and the lower the body temperature of the exhaust outlet, some companies have been deliberately edited to provide the automotive electronic timer keeps the engine running after him for Atfak be programmed in advance.
When we drive slowly, do not work Turbines shipper, they spin very slowly due to lack of gas from the engine, and when you press the gas pedal the engine delivers the amount of gas more you rotate the turbine faster, which leads in turn to enter the amount of air and fuel more to the engine, thereby increasing the amount of gases again to turn back the introduction of more air and fuel, and so Twalak ... This session is called stage turbo surge, which make you feel a sudden increase in engine power, and notes on the pressure indicator such as increased rapidly in quantity. And the period before the upheaval when the turbines spin and the engine did not give enough power yet - called the idle phase (curved graph 1). Large turbines generate more pressure, but also suffer from a longer period of inactivity because of her old age, and small turbines spans are shorter, but inactivity is able to generate a lot of pressure, and this subject will be explained in the following paragraph.
How to design a turbocharger?
Task is to turn the charger momentum exhaust gases to spin turbines to the shipper, and the mission of this turbine is to convert rotational motion to the momentum of the air entering the engine, the air becomes compressed and heated.
Each turbine from the charger turbines measured the size of each section of the subdivision, the two sections: Section drawer "inducer" and Section motive "exducer", size, shape each section defines the form of turbine airfoils and thus the properties of the charger.
Turbine compressor:
You can see the section drawer of the turbine pressure by looking at the air inlet charger which seems out like a fan, the blades of this fan extends into the charger to grow in size and form part motivation, part drawer of the turbine compressor is responsible for the suction of air into the charger, Section motivation shall be paid the air through Gnihath out of the charger. Because of the passage of air through the ailerons as he left acquires rotational movement Kalzubah, and, since the charger is very close to the entrance of air your engine in the old engines had to be put blades weatherproof air circulation at the exit of the charger to stop the rotational motion, which adversely affect the properties of flows at.
The size of the turbine compressor sets limit for the maximum pressure that can generated, as determined by the time of turbo surge, and determine the quality of the turbine compressor according to the size of each of the halves, and the basic rule is that the motivation section larger than the drawer.
Turbine exhaust:
Turbine exhaust is divided into two parts as well (the drawer and motivation), but because of its mission adverse to the task of the turbine has been pressing a switch and place the two sections.
Are designed turbine exhaust to balance two important things are to take advantage of the power out the exhaust gases as much as possible and without objection out of these gases as well, and these two things are influenced very size of room exhaust and Anaftha, the more the size of turbine exhaust was able turbine use more energy and converted into rotational movement of the axis, but also increase in size will lead to the obstruction out of exhaust gases, which negatively affects the performance of the engine. Typically the size of the drawer section slightly larger than the size of the partition the drive in the turbine exhaust, and most companies, the amendment maintains the natural size of the sections of turbine exhaust to the lack of importance compared to the importance of the turbine compressor.
Rooms Charger:
Have rooms charger smooth surface inside and wrapped in a tubular on the turbine to distribute air evenly to all airfoils of these turbines, and the diameter of the pipe narrows slightly with the trend towards the neck, which increases the pressure output, and in terms of engineering turbocharger measured rooms shipping length of the pipe ring ( A) and the distance between the middle of the tube and the axis of the turbine (R), these two values do not mean much to users and often remain value R close in most rooms Chargers air, but the division of A on R we get the ratio A / R, which determine the measure and the properties of rooms, the charger and how much pressure can the generated.
The less the ratio A / R in a room exhaust (ie, the length of the shortest of the tube ring = A) increased the speed of rotation of the turbine, but with the high revs cause short tube to raise the pressure of the exhaust gases which increases the pressure opposite to the engine leads to a decline in performance, and value of the pressure the reverse should not exceed half the value of the pressure in the chamber of the explosion. Result is that by increasing the ratio A / R improves the performance of the engine when the courses high, but in turn lost some strength in the sessions medium and suffers from an increase in the period of inactivity, and the shrinking proportion of A / R improved engine performance at the sessions of low-and medium-sized, but suffers from a lack of performance when courses high .
As a result of the above depends on the air charger is designed to balance the above factors are all
Pressure control:
Controlled amount of pressure generated by the turbocharger by another device called the gate of waste "Waste Gate" (Figure 1), and this gate is a valve large is located on the charger near the entrance of the exhaust gases, and when you open this valve prevents the flow of exhaust gases to exit directly instead of passing through the turbine. The movement is controlled valve by means of a drive is small, and is the interface between the valve and the device driver through the arm ranging in length between 10 and 15 cm, and the device connects to the motivation of the other outlet compressed air to the charger and through the hose high (Figure 2), when the high pressure generated by the charger, the device driver to open the valve, the pressure decreases, yielding a motivation to close the valve until the pressure rises again, and repeated this process very quickly Fathafez on a constant pressure at the outlet of compressed air and thus

POLL: Saab Owners, Which Brand will they Turn to Now?

It's been a terrible year for Saab which ended with the worst possible scenario as after more than six decades of building cars with bespoke designs (or at least for the most part) and some quirky features, the Swedish company filed for bankruptcy on December 20.

Understandably, it's still too early to know what will happen next to the company and its assets, but even though in theory a new party could step in during the bankruptcy process and save the company, the chances for this happening are extremely slim.

Why You Shouldn't Put a Lexus to do a 4x4's Job

The Lexus RX is a competent crossover on the road but it's not the kind of vehicle that will excite you with its off-road capabilities nor will it get you out of trouble when nature gets tough. Then again, it wasn't designed as a thoroughbred 4x4.

A group of men, possibly from Russia or one of the surrounding countries of the former Soviet Union, found that the hard way when what appears to be a Lexus GX was stuck in the mud and an RX came in to help.

See what happens next in the video that follows right after the jump.

2013 BMW M5 F10 with Twin-Turbo V8 Dyno-Tested: Does it Deliver What it Promises?

Manufacturer figures on vehicle performance are not always accurate. That’s why many road test editors prefer to verify the numbers on their own.

Some of them even go as far as dyno-testing to see not only if the output figures match those announced by the manufacturer, but also what is the actual power that is transferred to the road and how much is lost on its way from the engine to the wheels.

GM Not Worried about China’s Latest Measures Against Foreign Automakers

As we reported earlier this week, in a second move this month after imposing new duties on U.S.-made cars, China’s National Development and Reform Commission and its Commerce Ministry announced that they are putting an end to investment incentives, effective from January 30.

The reason being that even though China has more than 70 domestic car manufacturers, the bottom 55 account for only 11 percent of total sales.

As reported by Bloomberg News, General Motors, the biggest automaker in China, is not worried about the new measures. “We expect the new guideline to have minimal negative impact on GM’s future plans in China," the company said in a statement on Friday.

Goodbye... and Welcome

New Year's Eve has never been a good friend of mine. i have always felt sad as the hours and minutes tick away, even if it has been a good year. i should say that the past couple of NYE celebrations have been great and this year should be no exception: SG and i are planning to enjoy a nice meal out and see the new year in - on the beach.

And i can say that 2011 has been dandy - in both senses of our lives. i've just celebrated five years of my blog and four years since SG's first contact with me. Our kinky side has taken off in a huge way as we've met up with fellow kinksters over the year.

It's been great to see our friends Elves on a couple occasions and experience their fab dungeon. We are looking forward to catching up with them again in the not too distant future.

And we were also thrilled to meet for the first time this girl and Grimly, and their friends Geetwo and Maxi, at BBB (our first ever BDSM event) and our recent pony play day. Not forgetting our fantastic weekend at Captive Kink's house and this girl. We have plans to meet them all again in the spring.

Also, of course there are all the photo shoots that SG and i have experimented with, including our first foray with the great outdoors!

Fun times, indeed. And more to come next year, let's hope.

And there's a good chance of that. Especially when your kinky partner buys you a Darlex straitjacket dress and matching hood for Christmas! That may well be our first photo project of the year.

A fond farewell to 2011 and a big bear/SG and puppy hug in welcoming in an exciting new year they call 2012.

See you next year!

The Year of the Sports Car at California's Mulholland Drive

As one of the most scenic roads in Los Angeles County, the Mulholland Highway is a popular destination for car drivers and motorcyclists alike.

Over the past year, a camera crew recorded many sports cars that made their way pass the twisty roadways and strung together a video with some of the most eye-catching models.

The cars seen in the film range from the new McLaren MP4-12C to a classic Bugatti 57 SC Atlantic (we believe this is a replica owned by Jay Leno), and from an Atom Ariel to the Audi e-tron Spyder Concept.

Buckle up and head over the jump to enjoy the video.

The Worst Performing Auto Stocks of 2011

The year that is ending tomorrow night has certainly been a strange one for investors: while the Standard & Poor’s 500 will end flat, stock prices of the automotive industry have experienced a great fall.

After all that’s happened this year with the Euro debt crisis and the U.S. avoiding one at the 11th hour, this was more or less to be expected.

What is surprising though is that the worst performer in terms of stock price is the car company that has regained the number one position globally and rolled out many new competitive products. And yes, we are talking about General Motors, which saw its share price drop by 46 percent!

One Helluva Catfight: EVO Pits New Jaguar XKR-S against 1992 XJ220 at the Nürburgring

In the 1980s supercar battle, Ferrari had the raw F40, Porsche the highly sophisticated 959 and Jaguar had, well, nothing. That is, until its chief engineer, Jim Randle, decided to begin work on an unsanctioned project on a mid-engine, all-wheel drive Jag supercar.

The XJ220 concept, named after its 220 mph (350 km/h) claimed top speed, was unveiled at the 1988 British Motor Show. It sported a 6.2-liter version of Jaguar’s classic V12 engine with a quad-cam system developed for testing in the Le Mans XJR-9 racer and, as Randle envisioned, all-wheel drive.

California Officials Say Owners Shouldn't Change Oil at 3K-Mile Intervals as the Practice Wastes 10M Gallons a Year

As far as cars are concerned, hearsay is many times more prevalent than the manufacturers’ own advice. One such case is the change of the engine’s oil: most car owners believe that 3,000 miles (5,000 km) is the appropriate mileage for an oil change.

This might have been true a few decades ago when engines needed extra care, but technology has moved on since then.

Nevertheless, despite the fact that almost all new vehicle manuals advise owners to change oil in their cars every 7,500 to 10,000 miles, studies show that a great number of drivers prefer to do things their own way.

"The 3,000-mile oil change just says that the marketing campaign by quick-lube companies has been effective", Steve Mazor, manager of the Auto Club of Southern California's Automotive Research Center, told the Detroit News.

Built Aussie Tough: Firefighter Truck Plunges into the Deep Like a Boss

The city of Melbourne is one of the best cities to live in, not only in Australia but in the world. Nevertheless, it can also drive you crazy with its variable weather conditions; one minute it's nice and warm and the other you get pounded by rain or even severe hail storms, as happened on Christmas day this year.

In fact, aside from the huge hailstones that damaged around 10,000 vehicles, the ferocious Christmas Day storms that hit Melbourne and northwest Victoria sparked some heavy flash flooding in certain areas.

But the flooded roads were no match for some Aussie firefighters who didn’t even blink an eye when their Isuzu truck plunged into very deep waters of what looks like a street somewhere in the Melbourne suburb of Eltham. Still here? Just go and watch the video we've got after the break.

For an even more exclusive look than with the standard Audi S-Line on international boulevards and streets such as "Fifth Avenue" in New York, "Kensington Palace Gardens" in London, "Avenue Montaigne" in Paris, "Avenue Princess Grace" in Monaco, "Via Suvretta" in St. Moritz, "Maximilian-Straße" in Munich, "Ostozhenka" in Moscow, or "Severn Road" in Hong Kong, the wheel arches beneath the broad fenders are filled out by single-part 10 x 22 inch SUV Select alloy wheel rims. The timeless five-spoke design wheels are available in three different color schemes (matte-black, front silver matte / shadow silver, front polished / graphite matte, polished lip) and are fitted 295/30R22 tires. Alternatively, the new JE DESIGN complete wheel set SCORPIO is also available in 10 x 22 inches. The set offers a completely new interpretation of the popular double-spoke design and is also available in the size 9 x 20 inches in matte-black with polished-silver rim flange. For both 22-inch complete wheel sets, which are available from 5,190 euros, JE DESIGN installs 30-millimeter-thick (front) and 40-millimeter-thick (rear) wheel spacers (409 euros) under the expansive wheel-arch extensions of the widebody kit.
The JE DESIGN wheels look even more formidable with a lowered suspension (1,428 euros). Here, an electronic adjustment of the Audi "adaptive air suspension" lowers the chassis by around 35 millimeters. The functionality of the smooth-adjustment damping system with its five different damping modes ("automatic, "comfort", "dynamic", "lift", and "offroad") is, of course, still present.
Performance enhancement
For the various engines of the Audi Q7 Facelift, JE DESIGN offers numerous performance enhancements. For example, the Q7 4.2 TDI tiptronic's 250 kW (340 PS) standard series power is increased to up to 302 kW (410 PS) thanks to optimized programming of the control electronics; this also increases the maximum torque to 895 newton meters. With its new power, the SUV accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds. JE DESIGN offers the new control-system software from 1,499 euros including VAT. This includes a one-year guarantee for the engine, turbocharger, transmission, and drive train, which can be extended by a further year for just 199 euros, provided the Audi Q7 is not older than two years and has less than 100,000 kilometers on the clock. In the company’s own specialist workshop in Leingarten, in the German state of Baden-Württemberg, the optimization of the Motronic takes just three to four hours. Alternatively, JE DESIGN will collect the dismounted control unit by courier and will return it to addresses within Germany the following day.

The high-quality JE DESIGN accessories have received many awards in international specialist publications, are supplied with TÜV certificates, and can be entered easily into the vehicle documents. Following the performance enhancement, the Audi Q7 4.2 TDI meets statutory emissions requirements, ruling out any difficulties in the emissions test.

Stock Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Challenges Tuned Nissan GT-R on the Drag Strip

The Nissan GT-R and the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 are two very different beasts made by two companies that couldn't be more different, but there's one thing these two sports cars have in common: they are blazingly fast.

On one hand, you have a stock Bugatti Veyron 16.4 with 1,001-horses and a $2 million price tag while its Japanese contender, currently priced from US$90,000 in the States, normally gets between 480 and 550-ponies depending on the model year, but this particular model, is said to have been "lightly modified".

New Toyota Camry Excels in Consumer Reports’ Tests, VW Passat Not So Much

Consumer Reports has just announced its latest test results. This time, the nonprofit organization put two brand-new, family sedans under its microscope – and while the one came up trumps, the other was a mixed bag.

Starting with the new 2012 Toyota Camry, Consumer Reports tested three different models with a four-cylinder, a V6 and a Hybrid engine, all of which ranked amongst the best in their class.

As the magazines notes, compared to the model it replaces, the new Camry has a plusher interior, more responsive handling, improved ride and better fuel economy, with only the increased road noise and some cheap details tainting the overall picture.

In fact, while the 173HP 2.5-liter four-cylinder version ties with the Hyundai Sonata for best-in-class fuel consumption delivering 27 mpg (8.7 lt/100 km), the more powerful 268HP 3.5-liter V6 is just a smidgen more thirsty and, at 26 mpg (9.0 lt/100 km), beats most four-cylinder rivals.

Brooklyn Designer Creates Autodromo Watch Line Inspired by Car Instrument Gauges

Bradley Price is 31-year-old product designer from Brooklyn, New York, with a special passion for cars and a pretty creative mind. Combine those two and you get an interesting mix.

A couple of years ago, while driving his red 1983 Alfa Romeo GTV6 2.5 (yes, he's our kind of guy), Price had an inspiration: design a line of watches loosely inspired by sports car instrument panel gauges. Upon returning home, Price went to the drawing board and began rendering watch faces based on car gauges he admired.

The Brooklyn native continued to work on the designs of both the watch faces and casings and ended up creating a new company named Autodromo for his products.

“There are so many wonderful gauge designs from the 1960s and ’70s that I love,” Price told the New York Times in a recent interview. “I did some research and saw that no one was doing that for watches.”

Is this Video Real? Speeding Car Passes Between Police Cruiser and Truck at Intersection

We're not ready to call this video real yet, but if it proves to be genuine, the driver that violated the green light at this intersection passing between a cop car and a truck, allegedly in the capital city of Baku in Azerbaijan, should feel more epic than Chuck Norris in any of his 1980s movies.

Take a look at the security video footage after the break, and tell us what you think.

SPIED: 2012 Mercedes A-Class Hatchback Stretches Out in the Snow

The upcoming third generation A-Class is one of the most interesting new vehicles currently being prepared by Mercedes-Benz and all for good reason as the only common factor it has with the current model is its name.

You see, the Stuttgart-based company decided to compete more directly with the BMW 1-Series and even the higher-end versions of the VW Golf and as a result, opted for a sportier looking hatchback body built on a conventional platform instead of the tall, minivan-like shape and sandwich floor of the first two generations of the A-Class.

These latest spy shots of a five-door prototype of the A-Class testing in Europe suggest that the development of the car is nearing its end as engineers have removed much of its camouflage. If you want to see what the final model will look like, you can check out the patent images we posted earlier this year.

Rumors: Proton May be Forced to Sell Loss-Making Lotus Brand

Four centuries ago, they used to say that “the sun never sets on the British Empire”. Today, the Brits are content with much less – and the sun has more or less set on their local automotive industry after many decades of bad management and even worse products. As a result, foreign car groups own all major carmakers that managed to survive.

Lotus Cars, which was founded by the ingenious Colin Champan in 1952, was acquired in 1996 by Malaysia's Proton. Since then, it has introduced many variations of the lightweight Elise, its first new car in 12 year, the Evora, and showed no less than five new models in concept form at the 2010 Paris Motor Show.

Man High on Crack Steals Police Cruiser in his… Undies Leading Officers on a Wild Chase [Video]

If you are high on drugs, you can do some pretty foolish, and ultimately very dangerous stuff – like stealing a police SUV wearing nothing but your underwear, which is precisely what Ryan Elliot Cunningham did last Friday, December 23.

It all started when Blackman-Leoni Township police arrested the 34-year old drug addict at the Colonial Inn Motel on Ann Arbor Road.

According to a report from MLive, the officers handcuffed Cunningham and placed him on the rear seat of their Chevrolet Tahoe SUV patrol car, while they went inside the motel to check his room.
